Study Shows Home Buyers "One Stop Shopping"
Homebuyers overwhelmingly prefer “one stop”
shopping, says a major consumer survey sponsored by The Real
Estate Service Providers Council (RESPRO), Murray Consulting, and
The Realty Alliance.
The survey of over 2,000 homebuyers found
that 82 percent of those polled would “strongly or somewhat
strongly” consider using one stop shopping services, including
real estate brokerage services, mortgage lending, title insurance,
homeowner’s insurance, home inspections and home warranties.
“It’s clear that consumers want a wide
variety of choices from which to acquire home ownership services.
This study confirms that consumers see all settlement service
providers as needing to join forces to deliver a more satisfactory
housing process,” said Steve Murray, President of Murray
Consulting and Co-Editor of REAL Trends.
